UniQuery™

DESCRIPTION:

This course is designed for clients who desire to add functionality to their MANAGE 2000™ systems.

The goal of the course is to help students learn UniQuery™. UniQuery™ is UniData's access commands and syntax. It's also called English, Natural Language, or Adhoc Reporting. It is a very powerful tool for all Unidata users. It will allow you to access your data and look at it from all sorts of angles. UniQuery™ commands or sentences can be easily added to your M2K system with the MT420 tool.

This course is NOT designed to:

  • Teach UniBasic™ Programming
  • Teach MANAGE 2000™ Toolsets
  • Train personnel in the setup or use of hardware peripherals (i.e. Printers, etc.)
  • Teach the student basic MANAGE 2000™ module training

OBJECTIVES:

Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:

  • Know and use the UniQuery™ Commands
  • Understand the syntax of UniQuery™ Commands
  • Be able to use indices for quick data retrieval
  • Learn adhoc dictionary overrides
  • Use multiple select list to narrow your data search
  • Create sophisticated matching strings
  • Learn how to handle Multi-Valued Data
